Legal Counsel

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate, relevant and timely advice to senior stakeholders and other colleagues on a variety of legal topics that relate to the business and our products and services including areas: data protection, marketing, advertising and promotions, e-commerce,  intellectual property, and ad hoc business queries that affect the business
• Assist in the negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts for services
• Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures 
• Horizon scanning of new legal and regulatory developments
• Support the company with launches of new products to ensure legal requirements are met
• Promote legal, compliance and risk management best practice throughout the company
• Design and deliver legal training to the business
• Stay up-to-date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect the telecom sector
• Ability to draft, read review contracts quickly and identify risks.
• You will be comfortable working with a number of key stakeholders across multiple sectors in a fast-moving environment
• Sound understanding and knowledge of commercial law principles
• A self-starter, adept at responding promptly/juggling deadlines
