Provide accurate, relevant and timely advice to senior stakeholders and other colleagues on a variety of legal topics that relate to the business and our products and services including areas: data protection, marketing, advertising and promotions, e-commerce, intellectual property, and ad hoc business queries that affect the business
Assist in the negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts for services
Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures
Horizon scanning of new legal and regulatory developments
Support the company with launches of new products to ensure legal requirements are met
Promote legal, compliance and risk management best practice throughout the company
Design and deliver legal training to the business
Stay up-to-date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect the telecom sector
Ability to draft, read review contracts quickly and identify risks.
You will be comfortable working with a number of key stakeholders across multiple sectors in a fast-moving environment
Sound understanding and knowledge of commercial law principles
A self-starter, adept at responding promptly/juggling deadlines
Good English skills – write fluently, speak at conversational level
Experience of working as part of a multi-functional team
Minimum 10 years experience
Proven work experience as a Legal Advisor, Legal Assistant, or a similar position
IAPP certification (CIPP/E) it’s an advantage
Bachelor’s degree in Law or other related field
Strong work ethic
